The Escuela Taller ‘Expresión’

At the training centre of our partner FUNDAP in Quetzaltenango, a practice-oriented, two-year training course in the textile sector (known as the Escuela Taller ‘Expresión’ – tailoring school) is already running very successfully. Around 150 women are constantly taking part This practical training enables the participants to gain valuable work experience. In the companies, they learn customer orientation, teamwork and all the other processes of a successful business. This prepares them optimally for everyday working life and increases their chances of entering the regulated labour market.
